Have any of you
heard of Look4love.co.il? Until recently, this site was a very popular (and
free) free Jewish dating site but it's no longer free. Anyway, I decided to go
in and check around to see whether there were new faces and there were quite a
few but what caught my eye was a girl who wrote that she liked looking at
insects.
Seeing that I'm
quite an insect myself, and seeing that she posted a personal ad of her with a colorful
parrot perched on her shoulder, I thought I'd give it a shot. I send her a wink
and she ignored me. I send her a smile but she ignored me. I send her a short
message: "hi there!" and she ignored me.
I racked my brain
and then thought of a great idea. Using Photoshop, I added a parrot to my
picture too and then send her a note – see my new picture. She answered – lousy
Photoshop work. I asked how did you know? She said, in this picture in your
personal ad you forgot to cut off one of the parrot's legs. I said, OK but I
did get your attention, didn't I? She replied with a smiley. So, optimistic
about this – I was about to reply back when I receive a message from another
girl saying – "how much do you love parrots?"
